Overview
Pan-African research infrastructure platform connecting laboratory equipment, researcher expertise, funding calls and institutions across the continent in a single searchable directory.
Challenge
Research capacity across African institutions is real but scattered, with equipment, expertise and funding sitting in separate places, so the platform had to make all of it discoverable without asking every institution to change how it works.
Development
We built a searchable directory of equipment, experts, institutions and funding opportunities, layered a research map and collaboration requests on top, and added an authenticated submission and review workflow so contributions can be vetted before they go live.
